Dear Mikio Suzuki,

Thanks for your question.

In case you stay in Vietnam for less than 15 days, you do not need to get Visa because Japan citizen have 15 days Vietnam Vsia exemption.

If you are planning to stay more than 15 days in Vietnam, you need to get Visa. You can apply for Visa on arrival for saving time and money. To apply, please click here Within 2 working days, we will send you the Visa approval letter which is issued by The Vietnamese Immigration Department via email. All things you need to do is to print the letter out and use it to get Visa stamp at the Vietnam airport upon arrival.
